What's Going On?
By Javier | on Friday, October 24, 2025
My 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe has 7200 miles. Yesterday in heavy traffic with lots of stop and go driving what happened next was frightening. Traveling at 20 mph the electrical batter was in charge. But when the traffic would speed up it remained in electrical mode at 20 mph and I had to apply the acceleration pedal with force for it to stop cruising at 20 mph with electrical power only.. The gas engine would then come on but it would get to 4500 rpm before returning to the desired speed. Heavy acceleration often will eventually destroy the motor, won't it? If others have had a similar experience, I'd like to hear from them.… - 1.0

Automated Nightmare
By Dale | on Tuesday, September 24, 2024
This 2024 Santa fe xrt awd is the most Dangerous vehicle I've ever owned. The computer and cameras will drive you nuts. This vehicle never shuts up. It's constantly alerting about something making me look at the screen. It hits the breaks for no reason. It decides if I can pull out across traffic not me as it sometimes refuses to go. It doesn't like anything it thinks is in the way. It's very dangerous. I'm also getting emails from it and it's been telling me to service it since 2nd month and 2k miles. It updates and if you don’t like phone updates wait until your car does it. Nothing remains the same. Constantly having to relearn the features. Don’t even use the cruise control as it's always hitting the breaks irritating the vehicles behind you enough that im always getting cutoff and flipped off as they pass me when i use it. After 5 months and almost 5k miles I tried to sell it back to ft.myers hyundai and was offered 75% of what I paid. I'm just ecstatic about them and this purchase. Worst buying decision I've ever made!…
